It only makes sense that Stevie Wonder, the composer of some of our favorite love songs is taking his shooting his next shot at love by getting married for the third time.
According to reports, including one from The Daily Mail, which states that the 67-year-old musician is set to marry his girlfriend of five years, Tomeeka Robyn Bracy in a beachside ceremony in Jamaica, on June 17.
Reportedly, celebrity guests like Elton John and Sam Smith will attend along with the singer’s nine children, who range in age from 3 to 42-years-old.
A prospective guest at the upcoming wedding said, “It is going to be a huge, incredibly fun wedding and Stevie is flying out all his nearest and dearest. ‘The guest list is pretty spectacular, and there will be a couple of surprise performances on the night.
‘Stevie has said he may well get up and perform a number, but hasn’t said what song yet.
‘There will be a huge party afterwards as well, and the whole day will be about love, laughter and family; Stevie is very close to his, and they will all have a role to play on the big day.’
42-year-old Bracy who is the mother of two of Stevie’s children, including his most recent, Nia, born in 2014, have reportedly already signed a prenup.
Wonder’s most recent ex-wife Kai Millard Morris, who is the mother of his sons Kailand, 17, and Mandla, 11, received some of Wonder’s money in spousal and child support.
In the divorce papers, Wonder requested that his earnings after their separation not be included in their joint assets.
The two separated in 2009 but the divorce wasn’t finalized until 2015.
In regards to his multiple romantic relationships, Wonder said he is always in love but denied being, as The Daily Mail puts it “unchivalrous” to women saying, “‘I feel like I’ve done some things with myself to get myself better. Because I feel God will not ever give you anyone until you’re ready to have that person.”
