Today, Refinery 29, MuslimGirl.com, Huffington Post, Teen Vogue, MTV and a host of other media outlets have joined forces to celebrate the first Muslim Women's Day, at the close of March, Women's History Month. The need for the specific recognition couldn't come at a better time. With the Trump administration spreading hate at every turn and intentionally targeting Muslim countries with his bans and everyday citizens going out of their way to attack Muslim communities, Muslim women need this celebration.
